The contacts install wire side into the housing. This is backwards from other brands of EC connectors. Order of assembly: 1. insert wire through plastic housing 2. strip and tin wire 3. pre-tin connector contact being careful to keep solder inside cup 4. solder wire into contact 5. seat contact into housing
